Depression or Just Stress?
It can be hard to tell on your own, and you don't need it figured out before reaching out. At your evaluation we talk through what you've been feeling and make sense of it together.
What Happens at a First Visit?
A comprehensive psychiatric evaluation: an unhurried conversation about your symptoms, history and what you're hoping for. From there we build an individualized plan together.
Only Medication for Depression?
No. Care is tailored to you. Medication management is one part of a collaborative, whole-person approach that also includes lifestyle guidance and regular follow-ups.
How Long Does Treatment Take?
Most antidepressants take 2 to 6 weeks to reach full effect. You may notice some improvement sooner. We monitor closely during this period and adjust as needed.
Can Depression Come Back?
It can recur, especially if treatment stops too early. We work with you on a long-term plan that may include maintenance treatment and monitoring.
Can I Get Help Online?
Yes. We see patients in person in Miami and offer secure telepsychiatry across Florida, in English or Spanish. No referral is needed to get started.
